About Joyce Singer

Joyce Singer, M.A., C.A.S. is an expert writing coach and works with students in Grades 7-12, with gifted and talented students, with college and graduate school applicants, educators, and with Master of Arts and Ph. D. candidates.  In addition, she provides excellent instruction for the verbal sections of the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT standardized tests.  Business professionals also seek her specialized services, and she provides editing services to meet every need.

The effectiveness of Joyce’s coaching is measured in improved school grades, high test scores, acceptances to college and graduate school, committee approval of master’s and doctoral theses, and improved professional business documents.

An educator for more than thirty-five years, Joyce has taught English, Literature, Reading, and Writing to all levels of secondary students, to university undergraduates, and to graduate students earning their Master’s degree.

An expert in communication and outstanding use of the written word, she trains managers and support staff working in corporations, edits copy for corporate advertising, and provides instruction and editing services to Master’s and Ph.D. candidates. She is a current Board member of the Connecticut Association for the Gifted (CAG).
